Everything you need. Nothing in the way.
HelloFeedback turns a normal message into a question your customers answer in seconds. No logins, no survey builders - for you or for them.
Answered in seconds
No accounts, no star ratings. A customer taps a word in your message and lands on one small page with that answer already selected. One press of Submit and they're done, with a box for a note if they want to say more.
Works anywhere a link does
No widgets, no scripts, no DNS changes. Copy the ready-made message, reword it so it sounds like you, and paste it into an email, a Slack or Teams message, a support ticket or a text. Each answer word stays linked, and your wording is saved for next time.
People, not bots
Corporate mail scanners open every link in an incoming email before a human ever sees it. An answer only counts once someone presses Submit, so a preview can't leave one behind. We also flag the common scanners that do submit, so your numbers reflect what people felt rather than what a security appliance crawled.
Answers that add up over time
Watch results by week, month or year, with a clear headline: the share of answers you count as positive, like a CSAT score. Spot a trend, compare a launch, and see whether things are genuinely improving.
And the small things
Change of heart
Clicked the wrong word? The link only preselects their answer, so they can pick another before they submit.
Nothing to install
No code on your website, no plugin to maintain, no DNS to touch. If you can send an email, you're already set up.
Anonymous by default
No cookies and no trackers. We keep the answer, any note they choose to add, the browser's user-agent (to spot scanners) and a salted one-way hash to collapse repeat clicks. Never a raw IP address.
Links that never break
Rename an option and its link keeps working, so anything already sitting in an inbox never 404s.
Your wording, saved
Edit the message in a simple editor. The answer words are locked so every link keeps working, and your changes are saved for the whole team.
Notes that say why
Anyone who gives an answer you don't count as positive is asked for a note. Positive answers keep it optional. Read them all on their own tab, filtered by person.
Results by person
Give each teammate their own link. See each person's answers and positive rate, and who the answers came through.
Colour-coded answers
Give every answer a colour and tick the ones that count as positive. The colours carry through your results, notes and messages.
Starter templates
Start from a template - "Did that fix it?", a support rating, a five-point CSAT - and change anything before you save.
Common questions
Do my customers need an account? ↓
No. They tap a word in your message, check their answer and press Submit. There is nothing to sign into, install, or learn.
Will it work with my email client? ↓
Yes. Each answer is just a link, so it works anywhere you can paste one - Gmail, Outlook, Apple Mail, or anything else. We also give you a ready-made message to start from, which you can reword.
How do you filter out bots? ↓
Corporate mail security previews every link. Because an answer is only recorded when someone presses Submit, a preview cannot leave one behind. If an automated tool does submit, we look at the request signature - the fetch metadata browsers send and the user agent - and flag it, keeping it out of your results. No filter is perfect, so treat that part as strong rather than absolute.
What if someone clicks the wrong option? ↓
The link only preselects that option on the question page, so they can pick a different one before they press submit. Nothing is recorded until they do.
Do customers have to write a note? ↓
Only when they pick an answer you have not marked as positive, so you hear why. For positive answers the note box is there, but optional.
Can I see who said what? ↓
Answers are anonymous. If you give teammates their own links, you can see which person each answer came through, but not who the customer was.
Is it private? ↓
We store the answer, an optional note, the browser's user-agent and a salted one-way hash used to collapse repeat clicks. No cookies, no trackers, and we never store a raw IP address.
